Job Summary
Physiotherapist (Temporary) provides professional physical therapy to assigned patients in a hospital setting, with evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to render direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules. Requires graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy, and a valid Texas license or temporary license, with 1 year licensed PT experience. Methodist Richardson Medical Center (a 443-bed acute care hospital) serves Richardson, Garland, Plano and surrounding areas. The role is based at this facility and involves weekdays with occasional weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
- Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
- 1 year Licensed PT
