Job Summary
Conduct physiotherapy screenings for new admissions, prepare comprehensive write-ups, and brief family members on results. Deliver professional 50-minute sessions, perform systematic assessments, and identify prioritized patient problems to plan appropriate interventions. Monitor and review patient progress, aiding recovery from accidents or injuries through tests, movements, and discussions. Organize daily therapeutic exercise sessions of at least 15 minutes and facilitate group activities. Discuss patient progression with the healthcare team and assist nurses as a caregiver during peak hours. Earn a fixed salary plus commissions per session.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution
- Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to conduct thorough and systematic evaluations
- Excellent communication skills for effectively liaising with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Ability to create and implement personalised treatment plans based on patient needs
- In-depth knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation practices
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care, ensuring comfort and dignity for all patients
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team as well as independently
