Job Summary
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide patient/family education for inpatients in the stroke and oncology rehabilitation team. Evaluate progress, identify referral needs, and actively participate in interprofessional team meetings, clinical rounds, and quality improvement initiatives. Assign tasks to Physiotherapist Assistants and volunteers under indirect supervision while supervising PT and PTA students. Requires current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, minimum one year of clinical experience in stroke/neurological rehabilitation, and excellent communication skills. French speaking at an intermediate level is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a recognized post-secondary program in Physiotherapy
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in the area of stroke / neurological rehabilitation
Desired Qualifications
- French speaking at an intermediate level
