Job Summary
Provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions for hospital inpatients, including hydrotherapy treatments where appropriate. Develop individualised treatment plans in partnership with patients and establish effective working relationships with multidisciplinary colleagues. Actively participate in team meetings to contribute to collaborative patient care planning and utilise outcome measures to support continuous improvement. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to the education and supervision of students as requested. Work on a permanent full-time basis within the Exercise Rehabilitation Unit, with weekend roster participation where required.
Required Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Experience, or a strong interest, in delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions within a clinical setting
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to patient-centred care, professional development and continuous improvement
- Participation in the physiotherapy department's weekend roster, where required
- All caregivers employed by St John of God Health Care are required to be vaccinated from Influenza
Desired Qualifications

- Postgraduate qualifications or further study in a relevant area
