Job Summary
Physiotherapist responsible for assessment of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and cardiorespiratory systems and for the treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of injury or pain in a home-health setting. Performs initial client assessments, establishes goals and treatment plans, develops client-centered plans with an inter-professional team, engages clients to build rapport, and maintains professional records. Collaborates with government agencies, healthcare workers, and community resources. Works within a pre-assigned geographic area around Owen Sound, Ontario in a unionized environment with opportunities for part-time or full-time scheduling, travel to clients’ residences, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of ParaMed Home Health Care’s offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Willingness to travel to and from client’s residences within a designated area
- Valid driver license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from patient’s residences within a geographical area
