Job Summary
Create individual treatment plans and exercise programs to preserve or rehabilitate mobility and muscle function based on medical prescriptions. Participate in team meetings to coordinate care with medical professionals and other therapists. Inform clients about findings, concepts, and planned exercises while advising on assistive devices. Perform active and passive therapy measures, apply various treatment concepts such as Bobath, and conduct neurophysiological-based exercise therapy. Motivate clients toward self-activity and endurance. Provide follow-up rehabilitation after conservative and surgical interventions. Work primarily with people with disabilities across all age groups in an interdisciplinary team specializing in children and adolescents.
Required Qualifications
