Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and teach rigorous grade-level aligned content to 3-5 classes daily using DSST's curriculum resources that center underrepresented communities. Monitor and assess student performance through various tools to guide instruction and support individual proficiency while promoting a unified, positive classroom culture. Cultivate trusting relationships with students and families, actively validate cultural identities, and pursue professional growth through regular coaching and feedback. Contribute to the school community by supporting student recruitment, running advisory classes, and providing after-school tutoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
- Demonstrated content knowledge (known as in-field status) via various qualifications
Desired Qualifications
- Proven commitment to and experience with serving students of color, students with disabilities, and/or multilingual students
- A Colorado teaching credential
