Job Summary
Physics & Python Expert - Freelance AI Trainer: design computational physics problems that hinge on specialized tools (e.g., FEniCS, OpenFOAM, Meep, REBOUND, CAMB, etc.), write Python reference solutions, provide input files and conditions, set numerical tolerances, and test tasks across batches in Linux containers. You select an anchor tool, create verifiable problem solutions, determine acceptance criteria, and coordinate with a senior reviewer to ensure task quality. This is a project-based, part-time engagement requiring strong physics knowledge, Python proficiency, and experience with scriptable physics packages; remote work across multiple countries is supported.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- Degree in Physics or related field
- Python proficiency
- Ability to design physics problems with specialized tools
- English proficiency (C1+)
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Physics or related field
- 2+ years of research, applied, or teaching experience
- Python proficiency for writing reference solutions
- Fluency with scriptable physics packages (FEniCS/DOLFINx, OpenFOAM, Meep, MPB, openEMS, Geant4, PYTHIA8, ROOT/PyROOT, WarpX, REBOUND, MESA, CAMB, CLASS, or bilby)
- Ability to design problems that require a specialized simulation tool
