Job Summary
Physics or Electrical Engineering internship focusing on machine learning for image correction in a digital twin environment. Analyze and understand the existing image correction pipeline, design and implement a machine learning-based image correction approach, compare performance with baseline methods, develop validation methods and tests, build tools to evaluate outcomes and visualize results, and present findings with documented methods and recommendations. Collaboration with domain experts to refine approaches and validate conclusions. Requires pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics, optics, electrical engineering, or optical engineering with ML focus; experience with MATLAB or Python for data analysis/visualization; analytical, proactive, and English-communicative; 6 months minimum, at least 4 days/week (3 on-site); start September 2026; located in the Netherlands (Veldhoven).
