Job Summary
Medical Assistant position supporting the physics and dosimetry team in preparing patient radiation treatment files. Responsibilities include answering phones and routing calls, processing medical dosimetry records, preparing treatment plans for the radiation oncologist, obtaining and reviewing dosimetry records, scanning/importing documents into the EMR, contouring support for treatment plans, organizing radiation badge reports, and ensuring confidentiality of information. Requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced setting, reliable transportation, and proficiency with word processing and computer use. 40 hours per week in a quiet office setting at Tempe, AZ. Must have Medical Assistant certification/diploma and CPR certification, plus valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One-year work experience in the medical field
- EMR knowledge required
- Medical Assistant certification/diploma
- Valid CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
