Job Summary
Physics Applications - Researcher Senior role at Vinci focusing on production-ready physics simulations augmented with machine learning. Collaborate with Physicists, AI researchers, Software Engineers, and Computational Geometry experts to advance temporal propagation Schemas, generate/curate training and verification data, and move early prototypes through iteration to customer use. Leverage the Vinci framework to expand capabilities across multiphysics domains, scale simulation throughput, and support global deployments for Tier-1 semiconductor/hardware customers. Strong emphasis on publishing/applying simulation techniques (FEM/FEA, Molecular Dynamics, FDTD), applied ML (transformers, GraphNNs), and modern ML practices (training/evaluation, CI, validation) in a production environment.
Required Qualifications
- MS/MSc with 4+ years experience
- PhD with 2+ years experience
- 2+ years using or building physics simulators
- FEM, FEA, Molecular Dynamics, FDTD
- Applied machine learning approaches
- Computer Vision, GraphNN, Transformer Architectures
- PyTorch, Numpy, CUDA
- Training & Evaluation practices
- Have contributed to a production data processing system
