Job Summary
As a member of the ISR Systems and Architectures Group, you will conduct systems analysis studies for critical DoD missions and technologies, developing physics- and engineering-based models across various domains such as sensors and communication systems. Responsibilities include presenting findings to diverse audiences and collaborating with experts. A doctorate or a master's with relevant experience is required alongside strong self-motivation and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physics, Mathematics, Aeronautics/Astronautics, Engineering, or a related technical field
- In lieu of a doctorate, a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience will be considered
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with highly interdisciplinary teams
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to quickly learn new technical areas
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex technical problems and communicate key findings to a wide range of audiences
- Experience with MATLAB-based modeling, simulation, and data analysis
Additional Requirements
- Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret level security clearance with compartmented program eligibility
- Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required
