Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients across the United States via video visits, live chat, and secure messaging. Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions, provide preventive wellness counseling, and order diagnostic tests while prescribing medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Handle referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling follow-ups, then accurately document all tasks and communications in the electronic medical record. Serve as a collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners by providing oversight, chart review, and mentorship consistent with applicable laws. Maintain compliance with HIPAA standards and participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives to meet established performance benchmarks.
Required Qualifications
- An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine with active board certification in Family Medicine
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency
- Active medical licenses in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, or FL
- 5 additional state licenses
- Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule
- A solid understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements related to physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers
- The ability to work independently while managing a high volume of patient interactions through video and chat
- Comfort navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient engagement skills
- Willingness to be part of a group medical practice

- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states
