Job Summary
Provide full breadth of vascular surgery services at Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital and Grayslake Hospital, managing the non-invasive vascular laboratory. Conduct service calls, rounding, and care for pre-op and post-op patients while responding to local consultation requests and referrals. Participate in academic programs with the Feinberg School of Medicine, including teaching, mentoring, and clinical trial coordination. This full-time Medical Director role supports growth and care coordination across the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute North Region.
Required Qualifications
- strong background in clinical vascular and endovascular surgery
- completed an ACGME accredited vascular surgery fellowship program
- board certified in vascular surgery
- at least three years post-fellowship experience as an attending vascular surgeon
- appointment as a Health System Clinician as an employed physician with the Northwestern Medical Group
Desired Qualifications
- participation in academic programs of the Feinberg School of Medicine, including educational programs (e.g., teaching service, training, preceptorship, mentoring, etc.) or research programs (e.g., participation in clinical trials, referring patients for clinical trials, etc.)
- play a vital role in the growth and coordination of care and other distinctive programming throughout the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute
