Job Summary
Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient rounding, and OR cases with a subspecialty focus on minimally invasive endoscopic procedures for upper urinary tract pathology and advanced stone disease. Perform procedures including ureteroscopy, retrograde intrarenal surgery, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and novel BPH treatments using state-of-the-art DaVinci robotics. Share call coverage and collaborate on influencing clinical protocols, curriculum, and departmental culture as part of the inaugural development of the Department of Urology and its new residency program.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Urology
- Subspecialty Fellowship in Endourology (1-2 years)
- Unrestricted Arizona Medical Licensure (or eligible to receive)
- DEA license with current prescribing privileges (or eligible to receive)
- High-volume stone experience
- Expertise in laser technology and advanced imaging
- Proficiency in complex endoscopic techniques
- Commitment to academic and clinical excellence
- Experience with diverse patient populations
- Collaborative mindset to support program growth
- Faculty appointment with the University of Arizona commensurate with experience
