Physician - Urgent Care - Full-Time - Amherst County Community Health Center

Provide urgent care services in a four-room semi-rural facility serving approximately three to four patients per hour. Manage typical procedures including sutures, toenail removal, incision and drainage, and splinting while utilizing available point-of-care testing, x-ray, and CT capabilities. Schedule coverage Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 6 pm, with Friday hours from 7:30 am to 5 pm and Saturday coverage from 7:30 am to 1 pm. Board eligibility or certification is required, with a current Virginia state license preferred.
