Job Summary
Provide evidence-based primary care to cisgender and transgender youth and adults across the lifespan, including gender-affirming hormone therapy and pubertal suppression. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, team meetings, and grant implementation efforts while engaging in diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice initiatives. Dedicate half a day weekly to self-study and maintain cultural responsiveness in clinical practice. Join an established group of four family medicine practitioners and three mental health providers serving over 1,800 transgender individuals since 2007.
Required Qualifications
- NYS certification/Licensure as MD/DO
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
- Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Leadership skills, commitment to LGBTQ+ healthcare, and interdisciplinary teamwork
- Employs principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in clinical practice
