Job Summary
Acute Care Surgeon to provide inpatient, trauma-focused general surgery coverage across two nearby South King County hospitals (Auburn Medical Center and Covington Medical Center). Responsibilities include inpatient and ED consults, rounding, in-basket management, patient list oversight, bedside procedures, urgent/emergent surgery, and post-op clinic activities; participate in APP/staff/resident training and ongoing education. Requires board certification or eligibility, WA state license, DEA/NPI/prescriptive authority, and trauma/advanced cardiovascular certifications as per facility requirements; robotics experience preferred but not required. DaVinci Xi robotic capability may be available. Required Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible (American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association)
- WA state license required
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority required
- Trauma Certification, as per facility requirement
- ACLS, ATLS & BLS for Healthcare providers - certification by AHA required
- Robotics preferred, not required
