Job Summary
Acute Care Surgeon needed to provide inpatient coverage for two South King County hospitals (Auburn Medical Center and Covington Medical Center). Responsibilities include inpatient consults, ED consults, rounding, in-basket and patient list management, bedside procedures, urgent/emergent surgery, and post-operative clinic activities. The role supports APP/staff/resident training and ongoing education within a collaborative MultiCare Health System program. Requires board certification/eligibility, WA state license, DEA/NPI and prescriptive authority, trauma certification as needed, and ACLS/ATLS/BLS. DaVinci Xi robotics may be available for select acute care cases; robotics experience is preferred but not required. Required Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible (American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association)
- WA state license required
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority required
- Trauma Certification, as per facility requirement
- ACLS, ATLS & BLS for Healthcare providers - certification by AHA required
- Robotics preferred, not required
