Job Summary
Conduct Acute Care and Trauma surgery call, provide surgical trauma ICU coverage, and deliver backup call coverage as needed. Work effectively with diverse students, trainees, and colleagues while developing a full-time clinical practice. Educate residents and medical students, and participate in clinical research. Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery & Trauma, and ATLS Instructor qualifications are required. Join Banner Thunderbird Medical Center's Level I Adult Trauma Center in Glendale, AZ, offering comprehensive care for patients 15 and older without transfer needs.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification/Eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
- Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, Acute Care Surgery & Trauma
- Demonstrated clinical and didactic teaching ability
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- ATLS Instructor qualifications and teaching background
