Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible Breast Surgeon sought for an academic, breast-focused surgical oncology team within Banner University Medical Group and University of Arizona Cancer Center. The position supports 1.0 clinical FTE with a Monday–Friday schedule, breast-only service with call, outpatient clinic responsibilities, and high-volume practice. Responsibilities include clinical mentoring of medical students and residents, lectures and didactics, and potential future leadership opportunities. Academic duties span teaching, clinical instruction, and participation in research initiatives through the Ginny Clements Breast Cancer Research Institute. Practice locations include multiple Tucson-area clinics and partner medical centers. Required Qualifications
- BE/BC by the American Board of Surgery
- Fellowship-Trained in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology, or equivalent experience in a dedicated breast practice
- 3+ years of experience preferred but new graduates considered
- AZ Medical License (or eligible)
- Desire to work in an academic setting
