Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible breast surgeon sought for an academic breast surgery program at Banner University Medical Center and University of Arizona Cancer Center. The role emphasizes outpatient breast service with a 1.0 clinical FTE, breast-only service, high-volume clinic, and no general surgery call, plus academic responsibilities including mentoring medical students and residents, lectures, didactics, and potential future leadership opportunities. The position offers competitive base salary with production incentives, paid malpractice with tail, CME, retirement plans, sign-on bonus, relocation, and robust resources to support cancer care and research within a multidisciplinary breast team. Located at University of Arizona Cancer Center campuses in Tucson and Phoenix areas, with affiliation to a nationally recognized cancer center and Magnet-designated hospital system.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC by the American Board of Surgery
- Fellowship-Trained in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology, or equivalent experience in a dedicated breast practice
- Desire to work in an academic setting
- Valid AZ Medical License (or eligible)
