Job Summary
General Surgeon sought for Banner Payson Medical Center to join a 3-physician General Surgery practice. Provides full-spectrum general surgery with required endoscopy skillset; board certification/eligibility in general surgery; active AZ license or eligibility; DEA with prescriptive authority; 3 years of experience. Employment includes base salary with production incentives, paid malpractice with tail, CME, 401k matching/457(b), sign-on bonus, relocation, and robust benefits. Practice is at a Critical Access Hospital in Payson, AZ, with a collaborative team and a focus on work-life balance in a rural community; call schedule is 10 days per month; annual volumes include roughly 150 general surgery cases and 350 endoscopy cases (lower endoscopy/colonoscopies).
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Active Arizona license or eligible to obtain
- DEA with prescriptive authority
- 3 years' experience required
- Endoscopy skillset required
