Job Summary
Physician-Surgery: Bariatric opportunity within Banner - University Medicine to join a comprehensive, multidisciplinary weight-management program. Collaborate with the Bariatric Surgery Director and Family Medicine Chair to support MBSAQIP-accredited bariatric surgery services, offering both surgical and non-surgical weight-management options. Responsibilities include fostering cross-departmental collaboration, developing and maintaining Bariatric Surgery and Obesity Medicine services, providing ongoing care for pre- and post-bariatric patients, engaging in education, training, and clinical research, and promoting community awareness and program growth within an academic medical setting.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certification in Family Medicine preferred
- Arizona medical license (or eligibility by hire date)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABOM
