Physician - Stroke

Provide direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based treatment guidelines, delivering care in a team-centered approach while interacting with patients and families to keep them informed. Review medical records, tests, and study results to make treatment recommendations, including second opinions, and develop care protocols for basic assessment and initiation of appropriate care. Complete documentation of patient encounters and return patient calls in a timely manner, acting as a resource for worker's compensation, disability management, and risk management groups. Participate in development of referral procedures and contracts with external providers, while demonstrating commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to all institutional and regulatory guidelines.
