Physician Scheduler-Bilingual Spanish

Job Summary

Manage physician schedules in the EHR system to ensure optimal utilization, including general scheduling, rescheduling for specialty programs like CCBHC and MAT-Specialty Court, and handling emergent appointments for Adult and Child Psych consumers. Conduct daily outreach to consumers for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and same-day slots, while researching demographics and manually updating contact information for disconnected numbers. Resolve cancellations and no-shows by entering notes into the EHR, ensuring all schedule changes are completed within a day of supervisory approval. Maintain HIPAA compliance during phone interactions, handle difficult consumer situations with proper etiquette, and report safety or policy concerns to the supervisor. Requires fluency in English and Spanish, a high school diploma, and two years of related office experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate or HS equivalent
  • Two years of experience in related office work
  • Fluency in both English & Spanish
  • Valid Driver License
  • Satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office
  • Proof of automobile insurance
  • Ability to work with the public
  • Ability to work with agitated, mentally ill and/or substance-abusing consumers
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with agency employees
  • Ability to always maintain a professional manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Computer skills
  • Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office
  • Proof of automobile insurance required
  • Subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
  • Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana
