Job Summary
Nurse role within an interdisciplinary team focusing on neurology patient care; responsibilities include applying the nursing process to develop individualized care plans, performing bedside lab testing and quality control, documenting progress and adjusting plans as patient conditions change, ensuring patient safety and collaboration with physicians and other health care team members, and actively participating in performance improvement and patient/family education. Emphasizes evidence-based practice, adherence to standards and protocols, and effective communication for optimal patient outcomes and unit productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois
- Illinois IDFPR licensure
- clinical nursing experience
- ability to perform bedside lab testing and quality control
- familiarity with evidence-based nursing practice
- ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary team
