Job Summary
Breast Radiologist needed at UVA Community Health in Manassas, VA, joining a team of MDs providing Biopsy, Diagnostic, and Screening Mammography. Responsibilities include performing breast procedures (US, MRI, mammographic biopsies, wire/SAVI localizations), reading diagnostic screens, operating when Sonographer unavailable, participating in monthly tumor boards, and collaborating with Surgeons, Oncologists, and Pathologists. Access to Hologic 3D mammography, Affirm Bx, DEXA, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine is provided. The role supports a balanced schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays, and offers eight weeks of paid time off and CME/benefits."} ,
Required Qualifications
- ABR board eligible/certified
- fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging
- breast imaging procedures US, MRI, mammography with biopsies and wire localizations
- ability to work independently
- participation in tumor boards
- collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- experience with ancillary imaging modalities (DEXA, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine)
