Job Summary
Breast Radiologist for UVA Community Health in Manassas, VA. The role involves performing breast procedures (US, MRI, biopsy and wire/SAVI localizations), reading diagnostic screens, and contributing to multidisciplinary tumor boards. The position supports independent work when a sonographer is unavailable, offers a favorable work-life balance with no nights/weekends/holidays, and includes benefits such as eight weeks of paid time off and CME opportunities. Access to extensive breast-imaging ancillary services and a collaborative team across surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and radiology staff is provided.
Required Qualifications
- ABR board eligible/certified
- fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging
- ability to perform breast-related procedures including US, MRI and mammography-guided biopsies and wire/SAVI localizations
- reading screens and diagnostic exams
- ability to work independently when Sonographer is unavailable
- participation in monthly tumor boards
- collaboration with multidisciplinary team (Surgeons, Oncologists, Pathologists)
- access to ancillary services (Hologic 3D mammography, Affirm Bx system, DEXA, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine)
- no nights, weekends or holidays
