Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine/Diagnostic Radiology faculty position in the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics at Banner University Medical Center/Tucson and University of Arizona. The ideal candidate will be a Nuclear Medicine physician or fellowship-trained radiologist with ABNM and/or ABR/NR board certification, eligible for Arizona licensure, and designated as Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive clinical service with weekday work and weekday/weekend call, teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, participating in interdisciplinary conferences, and collaborating on clinical and translational research. The division offers Theranostic services and a broad spectrum of nuclear medicine imaging and therapies, with opportunities for collaboration across affiliated departments and institutions; involvement in education programs, research initiatives, and participation in tumor boards and clinical studies is expected.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- board certification by ABNM and/or ABR/NR with ABNM eligibility
- Authorized User of Radioisotopes
- eligible for licensure in Arizona
- fellowship-trained radiologist or Nuclear Medicine physician
- ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows
- participation in clinical service, education programs, and research
- expertise in Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging including PET tracers, radiopharmaceutical therapies and related procedures
