Job Summary
Radiologist specializing in breast imaging with operative role at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. The position involves 3D Mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, radioactive seed localization, and image-guided core biopsy (stereotactic, US and MRI) in a collaborative, patient-centered team with fellowship-trained physicians. The role supports a balanced schedule with daytime hours, some on-site procedures, and flexibility for remote work from home. Partnership with Magee-Women's Hospital of UPMC enables genetic telemedicine services in the region. Eligible for H1B sponsorship; includes a sign-on bonus and productivity incentives; relocation assistance available. Ideal candidates will have an MD/DO, ABR certification or eligibility, fellowship in breast imaging or equivalent breast-imaging experience, PA medical license eligibility, and strong interpersonal skills in a non-profit, employed-model environment.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- American Board of Radiology Certified or Eligible
- Fellowship training in breast imaging preferred or several years' experience dedicated exclusively to breast imaging
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
