PHYSICIAN - Psychiatry Outpatient - Bismarck, ND

Psychiatrist sought for outpatient behavioral health in Essentia Health system. Responsibilities include conducting health screenings and psychiatric evaluations, prescribing and monitoring psychopharmacological medications, and providing integrated mental health services across lifespan. Practice primarily outpatient with potential rotating inpatient/ED consults; schedule is Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with no evenings or weekends. Pediatric experience preferred but not required. Collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, clinical social workers, and support staff; strong communication, judgment in emergencies, and customer-service oriented approach emphasized. Education/credentialing includes MD with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry; ABPP and child/adolescent certification preferred. Compensation around $335,000 with potential bonuses or incentives; credentialing required prior to practice.
