Job Summary
Manage psychiatric patients in the emergency department by leading care rounds, triage, and evaluation, while providing consultation to the Level 1 Trauma Center. Deliver telehealth services to critical access hospitals in the area and oversee a 7-day service coverage model from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Participate in a shared overnight and weekend call rotation where the average call occurs once weekly. Join a Behavioral Health Care Team of 21 providers delivering inpatient, consult-liaison, and emergency psychiatry care across adult and child units.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE
- Psychiatry
- 7-day service coverage model (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Overnight and weekend call
- Average call is once a week while on service
- Telehealth to critical access hospitals in area
- Managing the care of psychiatric patients in the emergency department
- Leading care rounds
- Triage
- Evaluation
- Consultation to Level 1 Trauma Center
- Verification of applicable licensure
- Certifications

- Background checks including criminal
- Urine drug screen
- MVR where required
