Job Summary
Provide inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents on a 7 on/7 off schedule within a 156-bed acute hospital. Deliver customized treatment plans in a least restrictive therapeutic environment for patients with co-existing psychiatric and substance-abuse challenges. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, case managers, therapists, and utilization reviewers. Supervise students, residents, and fellows via affiliation with the University of Arizona College of Medicine. No obligation to supervise attending physicians' APPs. Join a team of six child and adolescent psychiatrists supporting a broader unit of 14 providers across sub-specialties.
Required Qualifications
- ABMS/ABPN board certified/board eligible
- Fellowship Trained in Child and Adolescent subspecialty
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment; one that thrives in a highly integrated and innovative setting
- Above all, a desire to focus on patient excellence
