Job Summary
Provide inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry coverage on a 7 on/7 off schedule within a 156-bed acute psychiatric hospital. Manage patients with co-existing psychiatric and substance-abuse problems in a least restrictive therapeutic environment using customized treatment plans. Supervise students, residents, and fellows via affiliation with the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including RNs, case managers, therapists, and utilization reviewers. Board certified or board eligible psychiatrists with fellowship training in child and adolescent subspecialty are required. Join a supportive team of 14 providers focused on work/life balance.
