Job Summary
Conduct court-ordered evaluations and deliver evidence-based treatment for adult patients with serious mental illnesses requiring Level 1 care. Collaborate closely with nursing, case management, and technicians to provide exceptional patient care. Engage in didactic teaching and clinical supervision of residents and medical students within the University of Arizona College of Medicine training programs. Maintain a Monday-Friday weekday schedule with minimal call and an average volume of 12 patients daily. Join the Clinical Faculty team at the Behavioral Health Pavilion, contributing to an anti-racism and social justice-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- ABMS Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Current Arizona licensure or eligible for licensure in Arizona
- Monday-Friday weekday work schedule with minimal call
- 220 shifts/year
- Adult patients
- Average patient volumes: 12/day
- Engagement in training residents and medical students
