Job Summary
Staff Psychiatrist in the VA San Francisco Health Care System BHIP, providing comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care as part of an interdisciplinary team, with supervision/mentorship of UCSF trainees, and VA faculty back-up for on-call residents. The role includes serving as attending psychiatrist, addressing a range of psychiatric disorders (mood, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, substance use), complying with VA directives, and contributing to a multidisciplinary mental health clinical team. Schedule is 8:00am-4:30pm, full-time, with a sign-on incentive and education debt reduction options.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
- Board certification
- CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification)
- Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
