Physician PRN

Physician PRN provides and coordinates clinical primary care, urgent care or occupational medicine services, including daily patient management, diagnoses, treatments, referrals, and participation in office policies and medical protocols. Responsibilities include performing routine exams and specialized physicals (DOT, CDL, post-offer, executive, school/sport), potential Medical Review Officer duties for drug screens, and possible on-site laboratory oversight. The role requires collaboration with administration to ensure compliant, high-quality patient care, adherence to charting and case-management protocols, ongoing quality assurance and improvement, and community engagement as time permits. Strong emphasis on accurate documentation, communication with patients, payers and pharmacies, and maintaining professional standards. Minimum qualifications include Kentucky medical license, DEA registration, board certification or eligibility, and BCLS, with expectations for clinical excellence and cross-department collaboration.
