Job Summary
Physician – Primary Care position based in Farmington, ME seeking a full-time BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a rural, community-focused practice. The role supports office-based care including physical exams, women's health exams, sick visits, well-child visits, school and sports physicals, and management of chronic conditions, with on-site blood work and inpatient care at Franklin Hospital. The successful candidate will join a team of two physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers, with teaching opportunities for medical students and residents from UNECOM and Tufts. Call responsibilities are 1:6; opportunities for loan repayment, relocation assistance, and involvement in teaching and research are available through NHSC and affiliated programs.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of Family/Internal Medicine Residency program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family/Internal Medicine
- Family/Internal Medicine experience preferred
