Job Summary
Provide medical patient care by examining, diagnosing and treating clinical patients; educate patients and families on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources, and determine need for referrals; exercise final medical judgment in all issues of health care; prescribe medical treatment and clinical drugs; order studies and tests; document in electronic medical records; participate in quality improvement and continuing education; provide clinical oversight to medical staff; assist in resolving patient inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD) or DO
- Licensed to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction (e.g., Massachusetts/Rhode Island)
- Board certification in primary care (e.g., family medicine or internal medicine)
