Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain using comprehensive, multidisciplinary strategies including neuromodulation, minimally invasive spine procedures, and regenerative therapies. Perform high-acuity interventions such as epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulator trials, and intrathecal pain pump implants. Manage opioid stewardship through continuous BRE Program monitoring and utilize electrodiagnostic testing for nerve-related pathologies. Work collaboratively with dedicated advanced practice providers, physical therapy services, and ambulatory surgery center support in a full-time, 100% outpatient setting with minimal call.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an Accredited Institution
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Pain Medicine
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in: Anesthesiology
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in: PM&R
- Active Georgia Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- DEA Registration
- Fellowship Training in Pain Management
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in neurology, pain management, or related specialty
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region
- Proven experience in managing spine, pain, and neurological conditions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Knowledge of current medical technologies and treatment protocols in pain and neuro care
