Physician Practice RN Urology

The RN provides direct nursing care in the UHS Urology department, ensuring compliance with the NY State Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies; administers medications and treatments, monitors patient status, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to promote safe, evidence-based care. Responsibilities include advocacy for patients and families, maintaining professional standards, and upholding ethical guidelines outlined by the Code of Ethics for Nurses. Requires active NY RN license and CPR certification within 1 week of start; minimum 1 year healthcare experience and completion of an accredited nursing program.
