Job Summary
Supervise assigned APPs and physicians as the on-site clinical leader, ensuring accurate diagnosis, documentation, and patient safety. Conduct monthly chart audits, lead high-risk huddles, and perform panel reviews to drive HEDIS quality and clinician productivity. Collaborate with community health workers, social workers, and navigators while managing team dynamics, performance reviews, and discipline actions. Provide complex patient visits, sign DME and death certificates, and resolve patient complaints as needed. Participate in quarterly ride-alongs and assist with EMR efficiency improvements. Work closely with the Regional Medical Director to implement countermeasures for off-track providers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record
- Active CPR Certification
- Unrestricted DEA
- Completion of an accredited Residency Program
- Unrestricted Medical License
- Board certification is required for all newly hired or promoted on or after January 1, 2026; must obtain and maintain certification in accordance with organizational and applicable regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Physician collaborating with Advance Practice Providers
- Experience in Geriatrics or complex patients
