Job Summary
Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care for adult and pediatric patients while adhering to Piedmont Urgent Care service standards. Provide clinical resources to patients, families, and staff, ensuring all services comply with Professional Staff Bylaws and organizational policies. Deliver authenticated reports of rendered services, maintain accurate medical records, and complete necessary documentation to facilitate care and reimbursement. Participate in required meetings and activities supporting urgent care operations, while maintaining certifications in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS and pursuing specialty training. Work a flexible 3-day/12-hour week with no overnight shifts, reporting to the Regional Medical Director.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice
- Current DEA registration
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- BLS certification (we will provide this if needed)
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care
- Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other employees
- Positive, energetic attitude which inspires other team members
- Sense of service and team orientation absent of hubris
- Desire to contribute to building and maintaining a great organization
- Willingness at all times to go the extra mile to create an outstanding experience for customers and to train and lead the center team to do the same

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred
