Job Summary
Evaluate and manage patients with pain, spine, and musculoskeletal conditions while performing functional restoration and interventional pain procedures. Collaborate with spine surgeons, pain anesthesiologists, and rehabilitation specialists to deliver multidisciplinary, patient-centered care. Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students; participate in Grand Rounds, lectures, and educational activities for the PM&R Residency and NASS Interventional Spine & Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship programs. Contribute to clinical or basic science research and scholarly activity supported by the institution. Join the University of Kansas Health System's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as a full-time faculty member in Kansas City.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO (or equivalent)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Pain Medicine or Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine
- Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, teaching, and scholarly activity
- Experience managing patients with spine, pain, and musculoskeletal disorders
