Job Summary
BC/BE Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation/Physiatrist/Pain Management physician to join our multidisciplinary pain management team in our Pain Care Clinic in Farmington. The Interventional Pain physician will diagnose and treat chronic pain conditions and perform interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, and radiofrequency ablations. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating interventional and non-interventional approaches (medication management, physical therapy, psychology) and collaborate with physical therapists, psychologists, and anesthesiologists. Maintain patient records, stay current with techniques, provide education to patients, ensure HIPAA compliance, and participate in continuing education. Schedule: Pain Clinic Full-time, 40 hours per week. Hospital-employed with SIGN-ON bonus, relocation assistance, CME reimbursement, malpractice insurance, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Physiatry
- Fellowship training in interventional pain management techniques
- Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
