Job Summary
Full-time Pediatric Surgeon sought to provide a wide range of surgical care for premature newborns through 18-year-olds at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. Procedures include laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, robotic, and open surgeries across cervical, thoracic, and abdominal regions addressing diseases of respiratory, digestive, biliary, genitourinary, and dermatologic systems. In a high-volume environment, the role includes outpatient clinic 2 days/week, 7 shifts of call per month (including one weekend), and collaboration with Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Neurosurgery, Hematology/Oncology, and Cardiology. Robotic surgery capability on campus; participation in a multidisciplinary fetal care program; teaching opportunities with PGY3 residents and MS3/MS4 students. Inpatient care for NICU babies and comprehensive pediatric surgical services across Banner Childrens sites; Banner Childrens at Thunderbird is a state-of-the-art facility with extensive patient-support resources.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Surgery
- 3-5 years of experience preferred

- Experience with robotic surgery
- Teaching opportunities with PGY3 residents and MS3/MS4 students
