Job Summary
Conduct outpatient pediatric pulmonary clinics and manage inpatient/consult services at Diamond Children's Medical Center, with call rotation limited to no more than one night per four weeks. Manage academic time and participate in clinical research activities within the Asthma and Airway Disease Research Center. Take call from home while supporting medical students, residents, and fellows through training programs. Join an established, nationally recognized academic practice serving diverse populations including border, indigenous, and rural communities. Leverage protected time for academic pursuits and opportunities to expand clinical outreach.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Arizona medical license obtained by start date
- BE/BC in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine
Desired Qualifications
- Enjoyment of general pediatric pulmonary medicine
- Reliable, energetic individual interested in teaching and scholarly activity
- Interest in quality improvement, clinical/translational or basic science research
- Academic title with the University of Arizona
