Job Summary
Pediatric Nocturnist position to care for pediatric inpatients and newborns at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa. 1.0 FTE with night shift from 7pm-7am, schedule 7 days on, 7 days off. Focus on inpatient pediatrics within a community hospital, supported by Banner Children's Specialists, with opportunities to work with students and residents. Requirements: Pediatric Residency, Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics, Arizona medical license and DEA (or ability to obtain). New residency graduates are encouraged to apply. Hospital features include a Level 3 NICU, a 24-bed PICU, and substantial patient volume and community resources within Mesa and the East Valley of Phoenix.
Required Qualifications
- Pediatric Residency completion
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics
- Arizona license and DEA (or ability to obtain)
- Board certification in pediatric hospital medicine is not required
- New residency graduates are encouraged to apply
