Physician - Pediatric Otolaryngology

Full-time Pediatric Otolaryngology physician at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio (affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine) to work with faculty, residents, and staff in caring for a pediatric otolaryngology patient population. Responsibilities include establishing criteria and conducting patient care reviews to analyze and evaluate quality and appropriateness of care; recommending criteria for clinical privileges; reviewing adherence to Medical Staff policies, clinical practice principles, and department operations; coordinating patient care with nursing and ancillary services; organizing department/service meetings; taking action on identified problems; serving as an agent for peer review functions; submitting reports on review activities and recommendations for maintaining and improving quality of care; and providing orientation and continuing education for department staff.
